Improved Bulb Auger

Many home gardeners considered our first Bulb Auger as a staple in their gardening supplies. Because it was such a useful tool, we thought we'd dig a little deeper and make the auger even better. It's still a heavy-duty steel auger that will attach to any 3/8" or larger drill and dig up to 500 holes per hour without you having to kneel down. The Improved Bulb Auger attaches to a drill with hex-shaped connectors, so your power drill can hold onto it more securely—which gives it a better performance in rocky soils. It's also got a longer spiral than the previous model, so even deeply-planted bulbs are no sweat now! The soil-clearing whip located 6" above the auger base measures the depth and prevents excavated dirt from falling back into holes. You can use a battery operated cordless drill, or a corded drill. We suggest using a corded drill in soils where you'll need more power behind it, like in rocky soil (Not recommended for extremely rocky soils).
